It's been so long...

Since I've written. We put off TTC efforts for a least a month. The reason being is I was diagnosed as being Insulin Resistant and now have to take Metformin. I've only been on it for a week, and so far it's been ok. It could be worse from what I've read. I have some nausea when it's time to eat, but once I feed my face, I'm alright. I haven't gotten myself up to the full dosage yet. I tried taking a full pill yesterday after breakfast, but was sick to my stomach all day. I took half a pill last night and half a pill this morning. So far so good. I'll take a full pill tonight.

Hopefully, the Met will help me ovulate on my own, or at least really help the Clomid work should I have to take it in the future.

So, Tina got approached to go work for a different company. She really likes where she works now, but stands to make double what she's making now for this other company. We're still not sure what's going to happen. I don't like living in Yakima anymore...so I'm ready to get the hell outta here. But it's her that goes to work every morning, so I want her to be happy with what ever she chooses. I think she's going to see what they have to offer and go from there. One plus already, is that this other company offers domestic partner benefits, where as the company she's already with, doesn't.

We finally got to meet KD's baby last night!! He is so gorgeous and such a show off!! He's only 8 months old and already he knows that his handsome little smile gets him what he wants! I shared my sherbert with him, and he made the cutest little face. Of course, Tina and KD had to laugh at me because I wasn't feeding him right...but hey-it was going where it was supposed to! Things just got a little messy.

So, I've been on a diet all week. No sugar, flour, or starches. I feel great! I hope I can start losing weight soon. I haven't really implemented any exercise into my daily routine...I really should.

Not much else is going on. It's still cold here. That's why I can't stand Yakima anymore. I explained to Tina that I'm a Texan, you can't keep a Texan in the cold for 9 months out of the year. I'm done with this cold. I'm ready to go down south. I told her I'm even willing to go back to Vegas. I'd rather live in Phoenix or El Paso, but we'll see. There's lots more to do in Vegas, but...It's Vegas.
